In order to travel by bus from Oruro to Cuzco, you need to divide the trip in at least two segments, as the direct rout is not available yet. The most efficient way to make the trip is to travel first from Oruro to La Paz, and from La Paz take a direct bus to Cuzco.

Oruro is located at 224 km from the city of La Paz, and the trip takes around 3 hours. The buses leave practically every 30 minutes from the bus terminal, and before boarding the bus you need to pay a small fee called "uso de terminal" which costs 2.5 Bs. The buses arrive in La Paz at the bus station, which is located on Peru Av. From there, you can continue the trip to Cuzco.

The journey from La Paz to Cuzco takes around 12 hours and covers a distance of 640 km. There are two routes you can choose from in order to get there: you can go through Desaguadero, border between Bolivia and Peru, or through Copacabana-Kasani, which is more touristic. The second option offers a beautiful landscape of Cordillera Real and lake Titicaca. The buses arrive in Cuzco at the Bus Terminal, located on Avenida de Evitamiento.
