The bus from La Paz to Sucre takes around 12 hours and the city of Sucre, known as the White City, lies at a distance of 694 km from La Paz. Sucre is the constitutional and first capital city of Bolivia.

Sucre is located at 361 km from Uyuni. To travel by bus from Uyuni to Sucre, you must board a bus from the bus terminal, located on Avenida Cabrera. The buses leave every day at 9:30pm and 10:00pm and the trip will take about 8 hours, crossing the highlands and arriving in the valleys of Chuquisaca. Buses arrive at the Bus Terminal, located on Ostria Gutierrez Av.
Sucre lies at a distance of 488 km from Santa Cruz, the biggest city in the bolivian tropical low-lands, and the bus trip from Santa Cruz to Sucre takes around 13 hours. To make this trip, you have to go to the Bimodal Bus Terminal in Santa Cruz, located on Avenida Montes. The buses arrive in Sucre the next morning at the bus terminal located on Avenida Ostria Gutierrez.
